Taking The Time To Focus Some Attention On You

Now that we are in February, you are hopefully well on your way with your New Years Resolutions. I’m off to a good start with mine and trying to stay focused on them. One of my resolutions for this year was to achieve a better work/life balance. While strategizing how to do that, I was thinking it would be beneficial to focus a little time on self-love. After all, you can’t be your best for others if you don’t take care of yourself first.

Starting next Monday, over on our Facebook page we are going to be outlining two things to do for yourself everyday. We have broken them down as something for the day time and something for the evening. They’re small gestures that range from subscribing to your favorite magazine or soaking in salts to help wind down the day. We thought it would be great to start and end your day with a focus on you. We had a great time coming up with this list and hope you find it a nice addition to your week. As a little sneak peek, the first “task” for next week is to start the week off right, take a long walk and appreciate your surroundings.  For me, that definitely meant taking a walk around the neighborhood with my sweet pups. We hope that you follow along and carve out some ‘me’ time.
