Today I’m sharing a boozy pecan pie milkshake that knows how to party! My dad loved to beat the summer heat by sipping on milkshakes, and he passed his love for them onto me! We’ve had an extremely hot summer in southern Georgia thus far, so it’s time to break out the blender! These milkshakes are extra delicious because they’re made with the richest ingredients–a large slice of pecan pie (yes, the entire slice!), vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, bourbon and the best pecans out there — Schermer Pecans. Who can resist a sippable dessert?!

Ingredients

• 1 large slice pecan pie
• 4 scoops vanilla ice cream
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 shot bourbon, optional
• Whipped cream
• Schermers Pecans, roughly chopped

Instructions

1. Place all of the ingredients for the milkshake into your blender. Blend on high until thick and creamy.
2. Transfer to a glass. Garish with whipped cream and top with pecans. Enjoy this rich southern treat!
