Classic Designs of Camilyn Beth

20-70's Era Inspired Dresses Designed in Sarosota, Florida

I recently discovered designer Camilyn Beth, and have been shopping on her website ever since! She takes classic dress silhouettes and adds the perfect modern twist, such as a scalloped edge or classy ruffle. Not only are her designs timeless, but they are also extremely flattering. The fact that all of her dresses are designed and made in the U.S. is just icing on the cake! Camilyn Beth, commonly known as Cami, is a relatively new designer, having launched her first collection for the fall and winter of 2014. However, she has been in the fashion industry for years. Her inspiration for her collection is drawn from the classic fashion looks of the 20s through the 70s. As an advocate of sustainable fashion, she believes that her dresses should be worn several times as they are designed to be worn to different types of events.

My closet is slowly filling up with these gorgeous dresses. I wore the navy go-go dress to my friend’s wedding. This dress features a scooped back, which adds just the right amount of allure to this elegant outfit. I also wore another one of her designs on our recent trip to the unforgettable Lake Como, Italy. Today I’m featuring the Nellie Dress in Ivory. I’m waiting for the perfect event to debut this gorgeous dress in front of my friends (wouldn’t this look amazing at a garden party?!) This dress hugs me perfectly and I absolutely love the oversized ruffle with the contrast of the smooth silk. Pairing this dress with a simple, strappy, nude wedge kept the classic feel, but you could also add some flair by wearing shoes that have a pop of color or a bright pattern. Make sure to check out her incredible website next time you’re shopping for a fun dress for an event!
