After a quick glance at my blog, anyone can guess that I love neutrals and light pink — or as Pantone calls it: Rose Gold. So the color pallete for my Valentines Day post was a no brainer. One afternoon, Kelli Boyd and I strolled around Savannah in search of the perfect pink house to photograph. This building instantly brought me back to some of my Euro trips. I could easily see this house in Lake Como, Italy or Annecy, France.
The past few weeks have been a bit chilly in the South so I partnered with Finicky Filly in Charleston to help me pick a warm winter outfit. I wore a cashmere Brochu Walker sleeveless sweater ($312) over a Vince linen off white long sleeve top ($135). I paired that with classic white J. Brand jeans and a T. Marie Designs arrowhead and sandstone necklace ($168). Finicky Filly is my go to shop in Charleston because of the wonderful brands they carry, like Rebecca Taylor NYC, Mara Hoffman, Tory Burch and more. They also have such an incredible staff.
My beautiful python clutch ($308) is actually handmade, by Satchel in Savannah. I stopped in their shop on East Liberty Street last week and was impressed with their talent, collections and knowledge of the materials. If you haven’t heard of Satchel before, you should check them out at www.shopsatchel.com. They also love working with people to create custom orders. With Satchel, you know you’re getting high quality bags, and supporting a local business.
