I’m very fortunate to live on the coast and love taking in the gorgeous views of both the marshlands and beaches. I enjoy watching the marshgrass transition in color throughout the winter. It’s relaxing to head to the beach on cooler days since it quieter and the shoreline gives off a different energy than it does in the summertime. I want to bring some of the ocean life into my home, so I decided to make an oyster garland wreath. I teamed up with Kelli and headed to Savannah in search of oyster shells.
Winter mornings on the coast tend to be both chilly and windy, so a stylish wind breaker, fabulous pair of boots, and layered tops provide the perfect foundation for a February wardrobe. I usually stick with a classic pair of jeans—such as these Capri J. Brand Jeans. I then paired it with this cozy Soft Joie plaid shirt and a water resistant Ciao Milano Tess jacket. I finished the look with a horse hair necklace from the Twine & Twig, since it complimented the natural color palette of the coastal landscape while also accenting the various shades of blue found in the shirt.
