Powder Room Reveal

The Smallest Room in the House Got a Big Makeover

I’m so excited to reveal my powder room for you today! Because it’s so small it was challenging to create a space that’s both open + inviting!

But first, let’s check out a ‘before’ picture.

Yikes.

The first thing I did was choose a wallpaper from Farrow and Ball. I opted for a small blue and white stripe (Closet Stripe 360). Since the space is small, I wanted to play with color so I painted the trim and crown a much brighter blue than the wallpaper: Stone Blue in Modern Eggshell.

One of my favorite design aspects of the space is the Hampton Chandelier by Circa Lighting. The chandelier’s white finish brightens the powder room and creates a beautiful glow.

To maximize space, I worked with a plumber to install a wall mount faucet. I turned to Rohl because I love their quality, finishes and styles. I choose a classic wall mount faucet with lever handles in polished nickel. I’m absolutely obsessed!

For finishing touches, I turned to Top Knobs for my bathroom hardware. I love how they have so many different styles and finishes. For my bathroom, I fell in love with their Edwardian Ribbon Collection. I love the small details and polished nickel finish — it fits the space perfectly. Their hardware adds a luxury touch to the powder room.

Top Knobs offers a Find Your Style Tool which makes it easy for you to select the perfect hardware to fit your space. Since they have so many styles this simple online tool makes it easy to find the one that suits your aesthetic. Watch this video to see how it works.

And of course I had to have Weezie hand towels for my guests! I’ve been following them on Instagram for some time and just had to try them for myself. I wanted something fun embroidered on the towels so I opted for ‘hello’ and I love how they turned out! They’re incredibly soft and absorbent and I can’t wait to order more for my master bathroom. You can choose from eight different colors and they’re completely customizable.

I LOVE how this tiny space turned out. I added more shots of the powder room for you below.
