When I hear many families talk about the adoption process, I often hear how long it takes for families and children to connect. Which is hard to believe because there are over 120,000 children in the United States Foster Care System who are waiting to be adopted. And the good news is that there are families who are licensed, approved and waiting to adopt these very children. Yet the child welfare system in the United States lacks appropriate tools to efficiently and appropriately connect children to families.
