The Art of the Entry: European Flair

Recreate the Look of this European Inspired Home on Sea Island

What We Love:

I especially love the green wooden doors and the perfect ‘messy’ vines flanking the entry. I’m typically not a fan of stucco but how can you not be with this european inspired entrance. Everything about it is perfect!

Recreate The Look:

Lanterns. The aged copper contributes to the green coloring. The brackets with a scrolling motif adds a special touch. Try these antique copper lanterns for a similar look.

Planters. I love a good, Italian Urn Planter. When planting, think about adding something with height and then some flowers at the base for a pop of color.

Iron Work. My eyes are drawn to all of the special touches, especially the iron work on the upper windows. For iron work, I turn to Sea Island Forge based in Brunswick, Georgia. They work on all types of custom projects, in addition to their well-known kettles.

Location:

Sea Island, Georgia

Gorgeous! We were inspired by the blue doors in Paris so our new front door is blue! I’ll send a photo when the house is done.
