If you follow me on Instagram, you know that Casey and I were recently at The Breakers. Having been there before, we absolutely love it there. It’s about a 5 hour drive from where we live so it is completely doable for a mini-getaway. May is one of our favorite times to go to Palm Beach, it is towards the end of peak season so it isn’t overly crowded, but at the same time it is not overwhelmingly hot yet either.

Our plans for the weekend involved lots of pool time and frozen drinks. We did rent some bikes to explore Worth Avenue and the surrounding neighborhoods. At this time of year, everything is in bloom and it is simply stunning. The homes in the area are magnificent and their gardens are meticulously manicured. It clearly inspired me to plant some bougainvilleas for our home entry!

It was only a couple of days, but we both returned feeling recharged and energized. There is something about the gorgeous blue water that revitalizes your soul. Hopefully you can plan a Palm Beach excursion soon!
