Springtime Yogurt Pops

Healthy Summertime Snack for the Family

With summer approaching, I’m sharing a kid-friendly and easy recipe! We just unveiled our flower stand with Handmade Charlotte earlier this week so a flower inspired treat was the perfect compliment! We’ve created two-ingredient yogurt pops using candy molds in the shape of flowers, butterflies and lady bugs — almost too cute to eat.

To recreate this recipe at home you just need non-fat, plain Greek yogurt (we used Chobani) and a few colorful packets of sugar-free Kool-Aid. We purchased our cute silicone candy molds on Amazon but really any will do depending upon your theme.

In a small bowl mix the yogurt with a sprinkle of Kool-Aid. Add as little or as much as you like until you achieve the desired color. Add the mixture to the mold and place a lollipop stick on the back. Allow to freeze overnight. You can also make them different colors by filling half the mold with one color blend and the other half of the mold with another color. Since they are frozen, they are super refreshing and a bit healthier than traditional ice cream. Such a fun treat to add to birthday parties, back yard BBQ’s, picnics, or any other snack time. Hope you enjoy these as much as we did!
