Easter Brunch Entertaining Ideas

Four Tips To Make Your Easter Brunch Extra Special

Since Easter is just a few days away, we are rounding up some of our favorite Easter brunch ideas from the Lavin Label archives (though these tips could really be used to host any Sunday brunch throughout the year)! I hope these ideas make your Easter celebration extra special!

Serving Mini Cold Brew Coffees. In a recent story that we did for Pottery Barn, we partnered with our local coffee shop, Wake Up Coffee and created individual, ready to serve, cold-brew coffees. We bought small glass jars with lids and filled them with coffee. We used a white oil-based pen to label the jars, which adds a special touch. Next we filled a large pedestal bowl with ice and placed the jars in the bowl. This self-serve beverage makes it easy on the host, while also adding a little twist to serving traditional coffee.

Using Decanters For Freshly Squeezed Juices. Mimosas are a must for brunch so we pulled out our vintage crystal decanters for our Easter brunch on Sea Island and poured in our freshly squeezed juices. This is an elegant way to elevate your brunch, and looks much prettier than a glass pitcher or carafe. Displaying garnishes, such as orange or grapefruit slices, next to the decanter adds another nice touch. Lastly, just write the types of the juices on a small gift tag and tie it around the decanter.

Displaying A Cocktail Recipe On Greenery. If you are serving a specialty cocktail, rather than writing the recipe on a card, opt to write it on a large leaf! Last year I did just that for a Draper James shoot and it was a huge hit. I just used a white gel pen to write the recipe and grabbed a fiddle fig leaf from our tree! Super fun & original — you’ll be sure to get a lot of compliments!

Serve Pre-Mixed Cocktails in an Ice Bucket. We usually think that ice buckets are used for only cans such as soda or La Croix, however switch it up and serve pre-mixed cocktails in it! You can mix up the drinks in advance and even add fruit or herbs. Then all your guests have to do is add ice! I use my galvanized ice bucket from World Market. This is especially wonderful if you are hosting a bigger group because it keeps you from tending to the bar when your guests arrive. They can simply grab their drink, top it off with ice and mingle!

I hope these easy tips help you add an elegant touch to your brunch. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Easter!
