I love bar carts, not only for the variety of ways they can be used, but also for their mobility. They provide so much flexibility when it comes to hosting events as well as decorating. I use my bar cart to display cocktail recipes and collins glasses, but I also incorporate carts anyway I can when we have guests. I’ve teamed up with World Market to bring you two fresh ways to use your bar cart: a bouquet bar and a coffee bar.
Bouquet Bar. I recently hosted a baby shower for my friend and was trying to think of creative ways to present favors, and a floral bouquet bar came to mind! To pull off the look I needed a feminine bar cart, like this World Market Acrylic cart. It might just be my favorite piece of furniture that I own, so look forward to seeing this darling cart on future Lavin Label posts! I partnered with the Vine Garden Market and Edwards on St. Simons to stock the flowers. We selected a blush pink color palette and filled the vases of varying heights with hydrangeas, peonies, Queens Anne’s Lace and more. After that, just add scissors and twine for your guests to create their own bouquets.
Cold Brew Coffee Bar. I’ve recently become a big fan of Wake Up Coffee’s cold brew. So much so that I’ve already featured it twice on Lavin Label. Since it’s becoming such a hit in the Lavin household, I figured my guests would enjoy it as well. I poured the different flavor cold brews (orange + cardamon, mint and classic) in glass carafes, and served homemade coffee cake on these beautiful wooden chargers. I stacked the wooden chargers to add some height and variety to the display. I used a wire basket to hold coffee cups so that guests had everything they needed on the cart. I added Queen Anne’s Lace to soften the look and finished the cart with half ‘n half and sugar. This bar cart was such a hit that I’m planning on recreating this look when we host our family for Christmas!
