Holiday Shops with Belmond Charleston Place

Love the Holidays! The songs, the food, the festive decorations… it’s the best time of year! And of course, certain activities put me in the Holiday spirit, like shopping for loved ones. For me, there is a sense of nostalgia that comes with holiday shopping and I’m sure that this reigns true for you as well. Kelli Boyd and I were lucky enough to spend some quality time in Charleston recently, and of course shopping at the Belmond Charleston Place is always something that we look forward to especially once it’s decorated for the Holidays! I love the Belmond Charleston Place Hotel but not because of its perfect location (right in the heart of Charleston) but the quality of their neighboring shops! The hotel actually houses shops such as Papyrus, Kate Spade, Calypso St. Barth, Godiva, The Resort Shop, Tommy Bahama, L’Occitane, White House Black Market and more. I’d recommend that you follow The Shops at Belmond Charleston Place on Instagram so that you can stay up-to-date with special incentives, new inventory and gift ideas! This year I put together a thoughtful holiday guide that will be sure to make everyone on your list happy! Stay tuned for Part II coming later this week!

Our first stop was Godiva. Casey (my husband) knows my weakness for Godiva chocolates, especially their chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate truffles. For the holidays, they’re offering the Gold Collection featuring their most treasured chocolates. Godiva is always a must for stocking stuffers too, just grab their milk chocolate foil wrapped Santas, Hot Chocolate Gift Set or their limited time chocolate truffle gift box, which has my favorite Raspberry Linzer Torte Truffle. My husband has a sweet tooth designed specifically for chocolate. So these will definitely grace his needlepoint stocking this year. P.S. Godiva is currently offering 20% off your purchase and free shipping through 12/7. You can take advantage of this offer online and at their Charleston location.

The next stop is Papyrus. I can honestly say that most all of the cards that I purchase for my family are from Papyrus. They always have the cutest designs and I can find cards here that I can’t find anywhere else. My worst fear is to go to a baby shower or birthday party and give the same card that someone else bought! At Papyrus, this is nearly impossible because of the large number of great selections. I’ve also taken my gifts to Papyrus and they’ll gift wrap them for me! Their premium gift wrap + ribbons make it a no brainer. While in their store, check out their music boxes! The skiing reindeer music box skiing to jingle bells is adorable.

Lastly, we ended at L’Occitane. As soon I step foot in this store, I feel like I’ve been transported to Provence. Their shop on King Street is beautifully decorated and has everything that you would need to give a thoughtful and fragrant gift both for women and men! This Holiday season, L’Occitane has partnered with Dress for Success, an international not-for-profit that promotes the economic independence for disadvantaged women by providing them with professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools needed to help women thrive in work and in life. Ten dollars of each gift set marked with the Dress for Success logo will be donated to help outfit a woman for her next job interview. These gift collections include new limited scents that are packaged in stylish gift boxes! Also, check out their Shea Butter and Verbena Ornaments!

Follow along as I takeover The Shops at Belmond Charleston Place on Instagram this Wednesday, December 9th and Thursday, December 10th! Stay tuned!
