Did I ever mention that I love living in the Golden Isles? The people here are so friendly, the landscape is beautiful and I meet so many talented women that have either grown up in this area or have recently moved here. This place is a gem.

As a result, I recently met a talented New Yorker who used to live in St. Simons. Erin Goodman still visits the Golden Isles and she recently hosted a launch party on East Beach for her new maritime inspired handbags called Gunner’s Daughter. These beautiful cross body bags and all of their parts are designed, stitched and handmade in the USA. I really fell in love with the details of this handbag, especially… wait for it… the hand painted Golden Isles maritime map liner! What a perfect way to pay homage to this coastal town!
